In this program, we will learn more about this fascinating food and the important role it plays in our diet, our environment, and the economy. &nbsp;Elizabeth Almeida grew up on a cattle farm in Ohio, where her family grew, canned, and preserved their own food. She combines this traditional farming foundation with scientific practices learned in food science research labs to supply exceptional organic mushrooms to New England chefs and community for over 10 years.
