Start of Horticulture Study Group
In addition to the regular monthly Acton Garden Club meetings, the Club has a Horticulture Study Group which consists of those members who ‘like to play in the dirt’. Over the years, this group has explored all the various subdivisions of Horticulture within the Club. The Horticulture Study Group started in 1950. In the beginning, it was a small group, but over the years the group has grown to as many as 25 members at some of the meetings.
