In the beginning….1934, the Acton Garden Club met for the first time and continues today to promote a greater interest in gardening and to exchange experiences that shall be of mutual benefit to its members. For our 60th Anniversary a historical Retrospective as written and has been updated several times, the latest for our 75th Anniversary in 2009. A lot has changed but just as much remains true to that original meeting in June 1934 at Mrs. Edwin Hollowell’s home.
