2009 Acton Memorial Library - Holiday Mini Fair

The Acton Memorial Library annually hosts a 'Holiday Mini Fair' that showcases many of the local non-profit organizations in the area and the Acton Garden Club participated once again. At the fair, the Club presented a lovely table of holiday greens decorations made by members of the Club that were raffled off to the public as a fund-raiser. Raffle tickets were sold both to Club members and the public. Maureen Christmas created a lovely centerpeice, Dia Chigas created a beautiful hydranga wreath, and Karen Maines created a flowing mantle swag. Our table was a feast for the eyes, and many people stopped by. It was a wonderful opportunity for library patrons to learn about the Club and its programs.

	Dried hydrangea blossom wreath is one of three prizes for the holiday raffle. It was designed by Dia Chigas for the holiday raffle and library mini-fair. It was won by Marcia Rich, Director, Acton Memorial Library, who kindly bestowed it on Carol Domblewski, President of the Friends of the Acton Libraries.
	This silk and natural greens swag was one of three 2009 holiday raffle prizes. It was designed by Karen Maines for the holiday raffle and library mini-fair. Won by Charles and Carol Bull. Carol is a member of the AGC. She says it looks beautiful on her sideboard.
